THE WILDERNESS
CROOKED MEDIA
In 2022, I created the artwork for season 3 of Crooked Media’s “The Wilderness,” a podcast investigating the voting habits of Americans. In season 3, host Jon Favreau spoke to voters in key 2022 midterm battleground regions to determine how Democrats could defeat Trumpism in the upcoming election.
“The Wilderness” had an existing brand identity that I was tasked to expand upon. Each season of the show featured the same outline of the mainland United States with a hand-drawn logotype in the center, but with a twist. For season 3, I created a collage of American historical documents and adorned it with stamp graphic treatments. The team requested I avoid overt references to red, white, and blue, so I leaned into the colors of the undecided voters for the overall palette.
